Sakib Hasan Jeebon is a climate resilience and sustainability specialist with expertise in energy efficiency, climate adaptation, and environmental management. With a dual background in Chemical Engineering and Computer Science, he seamlessly integrates technical expertise with digital innovation to develop scalable and effective climate solutions. Sakib has played a key role in designing and implementing the Resource Tracking Information System (RTIS)—a pioneering platform adopted by the textile industry to monitor energy consumption, GHG emissions, and sustainability metrics. His expertise has supported leading global brands, including BESTSELLER and Primark, through energy audits and resource efficiency programs across South Asia, directly contributing to the decarbonization of fashion supply chains.
A Certified Energy Manager accredited by the Sustainable and Renewable Energy Development Authority (SREDA), Sakib has also contributed to Bangladesh’s National Adaptation Plan (NAP). Currently, he advises brands, factories, and stakeholders on sustainability strategies, decarbonization pathways.
